Easy Reader Updated for Tumblr v3!

Tumblr v3 launched today, and included in the preset theme list is a freshly updated version of Easy Reader. This latest version (1.1 for anyone who’s counting) has been updated to include the new Audio post types, archives, customizable colors and CSS as well as all the other new goodies released by the Tumblr guys!

Even better, though, installation of Easy Reader is now even simpler. To install, simply follow these steps:

Go to the ‘Themes’ section (under the Accounts tab)
Select Easy Reader
Click Save.

It’s as simple as that. Enjoy the latest version of Easy Reader!

A note from the author:

This theme has been tested for consistency in Safari2+, FireFox2+, and IE5.5+. It’s still a 1.0 release, though, so it’s possible there’s a bug or two.

If you experience any problems, please contact me.

To install this theme, follow these instructions:

Download theme by clicking this link.
Copy theme code to the clipboard
Open the ‘Settings’ tab of your Tumblr Dashboard
Change your theme to ‘Custom’
Paste the copied theme code into the textarea
Click ‘Save’, and you’re done!

Information Architects hit the nail on the head:

Most websites are crammed with small text that is a pain to read. Why? There is no reason for squeezing so much information onto the screen. It’s just a stupid collective mistake that dates back to a time when screens were really, really small.

As if it wasn’t obvious enough after reading that, I’ve designed this theme with the 100% Easy-2-Read Standard in mind.
